Owners David & Danene Lethin graciously donated the use of their Bering Sea crab boat for two tours — one in January and the second in October 2009. Their crew also donated their time. Special thanks to Alan Braun (Kiwi), Troy Hules (The Chief), and Danny Keiser. Their fishing vessel, The Aleutian Ballad, was seen on season two of Discovery Channel’s popular TV show, The Deadliest Catch. They own and operate The Bering Sea Crab Fishermen’s Tour in Ketchikan, Alaska, with The Aleutian Ballad, so this Columbia River tour is a special treat.

Many downtown stores and shops in Astoria are also open on Sunday to provide you with even more shopping possibilities. There is plenty of downtown parking and the nearby waterfront River Walk and the recently refurbished Astoria Trolley allow you to extend your stroll to other parts of Astoria.

Astoria Sunday Market began in 2000 and now covers four city blocks adjacent to east and westbound US Highway 30, with over 200 vendors on a typical Sunday. The Market also includes a large food court with an eclectic blend of over 15 food vendors located in the Wells Fargo Bank parking lot.
