FARMER'S POP-UP MARKET

Sundays, 10 am to 2 pm

Heritage Square Parking Lot

off of 12th Street between Duane & Exchange

(adjacent to Chinese Heritage Park & Legion Building)

In response to the COVID-19 safety orders encouraging people to go out only for essentials, Astoria Sunday Market is creating a small food & essentials pop-up market until we can formally open.  Our goal is to ensure access to produce, baked goods, jams, and pre-packaged foods in a safe-distancing shopping environment offering food options directly from producers.  Other home essentials will also be offered when available including soap and face masks.

The market takes place in the parking lot adjacent to the Legion building between Duane and Exchange.  Vendors will be spaced 10' apart.  This is meant to be a small, local shoppers market.

We are encouraging 15-minute parking for efficient pick-up of groceries.  We will provide web links to participating vendors who are taking pre-orders and will post them here.

We have worked with Clatsop County Health to create a safe, social-distancing market but need your help!

Customer Expectations -- Here is how you can help

First:

  • Please Stay home if you or someone in your home is sick

  • Please Don't attend if you are not a resident of Clatsop or Pacific County (OR/WA). This is a farmer's market meant for our local community. If you don't reside here DO visit a farmer's market closer to your home! Visit the Oregon Farmer's Market Association to find one near you.

When you do visit:

  • Please Practice Social Distancing: 6’ feet apart: We will ask customers to maintain safe distances from each other and have markers to help with this

  • Please send one person to shop for the household if possible.

  • Please: Don’t touch produce or other foods – allow the vendors to fill your order

Reminders!

  • Thoroughly wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth

  • Wash all produce thoroughly when you get home

  • Wash your reusable produce bags between market visits

  • CDC recommends wearing masks

  • Gloves: Please dispose of any gloves in wastebasket provided or at home.

  • Sneeze or cough into a tissue or into the crease of your elbow

Thank  you for your cooperation! We welcome your questions.  Please write to AstoriaSundayMarket@gmail.com
